Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Codiate ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Cashly Free For Everyone mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play under the package name com.cashly.codiate.ah.cashly.
By installing or using the App you agree to the handling of information described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. It requires no account and sends no personal data to us or to any third party.
Any data the App creates stays on your device. Uninstalling the App removes it.
Device Permissions
The App asks for the following device permissions. You can refuse or revoke any of them in your device settings; features that depend on a refused permission will not work.
- Notifications — Used only to show the daily budget check-in reminders you schedule yourself in Settings. Deny it and the rest of the app works normally.
- Exact alarms — Delivers your reminders at the specific time you chose, instead of whenever the system decides to batch them.
- Run at startup — Re-schedules your reminders after the phone restarts, so they don't silently stop.
- Vibrate — Vibrates the phone when a reminder arrives.
Your Rights and Choices
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email admin@codiate.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Deleting your data: use our account and data deletion page. We action verified requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact admin@codiate.com and we will delete it.
Backup files you create
The app can export your accounts, transactions and goals to a backup file. That file is written to the location you pick and is not encrypted, so treat it like any other personal document — anyone who can read the file can read your financial history. Where you store it, who you share it with, and whether it ends up in a cloud drive's automatic sync is entirely under your control, not ours.
Reminders and notifications
If you enable reminders, the app schedules them locally on your device using Android's alarm system. Nothing about your schedule, your spending, or your usage is transmitted anywhere. Reminder notifications are generated on the phone itself.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. When we do, we revise the effective date at the top of this page, and significant changes are announced in the App or on its Google Play listing. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
